Joint Ventures
As a key part of our global business strategy, Chestnut Global Partners (CGP) has formed equity interest Joint Ventures (JV) to provide EAP (and related services) in several regions: Native America, Brazil, China, India, Mexico, Russia, and Central Europe. In each of these regions, CGP has an ownership interest in the JV in combination with local or country-based partners. This JV structure allows CGP to:
- Directly influence and shape the quality of the EAP offering,
- Participate in the "indigenous" acceptance of EAP in each of these respective cultures, and
- Assist our partners with the acquisition of improved service delivery infrastructure and knowledge.
We also have a registered office based in Brussels, Belgium to better serve our European customers.
We invite you to learn more about each JV and see how CGP is constantly working to stimulate the growth and development of EAP in these exciting and emerging markets.
Psychcn-CGP is the first Sino-American joint venture company based in China providing EAP and related workplace services to multinational companies in China and privately held or government owned Chinese organizations. CGP holds an equity interest in Psychcn-CGP along with a Chinese partner. As the EAP concept has evolved in China, we have grown from a small staff of seven based in Beijing to over 65 staff with offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and an extensive network of trained and credentialed counselors in most major metropolitan cities throughout China.
In addition to providing EAP to local Chinese employees and expatriates working in China, Psychcn-CGP provides onsite training and frequently responds to workplace critical incidents, such as the Sichuan Province earthquake.

Chestnut Global Partners (CGP) first began to offer services in Brazil in 2000 when a major corporate client asked us to start an EAP in Brazil. At that time, EAP was virtually an unknown concept in Brazil and one single provider was in the process of forming. CGP became involved with that entity through a service agreement and then later as an owner.
Over the next 10 years, our entity grew to be one of the largest EAP providers in the country and looked to grow even more with a merger. When that newly merged company was purchased by an insurance giant, CGP opted to remain independent and started new EAP operations in Brazil.
Maintaining a sensitive cross-cultural perspective is core to CGP's strategy in providing EAP services on a global scale. Brazil is a major part of that strategy as a developing market that combines local employers with a mix of multi-nationals. Our operation in Brazil is positioned to provide culturally sensitive EAP and Health and Wellness services of all sizes.
